A Message from Rebecca O'Banion

As you might expect in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, many students at UMHB have been impacted financially. Our UMHB staff called each student weekly during the quarantine to be sure they were doing well, and ask about ways we could better support them. During that process, we discovered parents and students who had been furloughed. Many are left wondering how they might afford returning to UMHB when campus is open again. As a result, we have started a fund specifically to help students who have been impacted financially by the pandemic.

Description

This fund will be used to help students who have been financially impacted by Covid-19.

Donations are applied to...

The COVID-19 Student Relief Fund assists UMHB students by providing financial support to those who have suffered losses due to COVID-19.

Why are donations necessary?

The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the lives of our students and their families. Many have lost their jobs and do not see a clear path forward to return to UMHB. Students are ready to return to campus, but some need a bridge to help them in the months ahead. We recognize that many of you have also suffered as a result of this pandemic, but for those who can, UMHB students could use a kickstart from UMHB alumni and friends.
